Rahul Gandhi who undertook the Pada Yatra covering a distance of 225 km in 13 days

Rahul Gandhi has embarked on a walk called 'Bharat Jodo' to rally people against the ruling BJP at the centre.

This journey started in Kanyakumari and ends in Kashmir. Rahul has undertaken a 3,750 km long pilgrimage from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The Pada Yatra, which was planned for 50 days, has reached its 13th day today. Rahul started by planting a sapling in a college at Sertala, Alappuzha. Having walked a distance of 14 km, Rahul Gandhi completed the Yatra in the afternoon at Kuthiyadudu.

Senior Congress leaders Muralitharan, Pawan Khera, VT Satheesan and other prominent administrators participated in the foot pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said in a statement that Rahul Gandhi has covered a distance of 225 km in the last 13 days of the Pada Yatra. Rahul Gandhi, who will undertake a pilgrimage of 15 km today, has said that he will reach Kochi by night.

The India Unity Tour was originally planned to be by car. Rahul Gandhi said, "I have said that I will not participate if it is a yatra by car." He said that as there are many places in the country that cannot be reached by car, it was decided to take a walking tour out of respect for them.
