Previously, he was posted in Gadchiroli as Additional Superintendent of Police. Other notable transfers include IPS Abhay Singh Deshmukh, who has been made Superintendent of Police in Pune's Arms Inspection Branch, and Gokul Raj, who will take over as Commandant of the State Reserve Police Force in Navi Mumbai.
