The list of Deputy Collectors appointed through transfer for the years 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 has been published by the government. Based on that, an ordinance is issued appointing 40 commissioners as Deputy Collectors in specified posts through promotion in the Tamil Nadu Civil Service.
As for Chennai district, District Commissioners (Revenue Division) P.Aivannan, S.Parthasarathi, R.Ananda Maharajan, D.Sasikala are Thiruvallur District Excise Supervising Officer, Deputy Collector of Land Administration Commissionerate, Grievance Redressal Supervising Officer of Chief Minister's Department, Elkot HR General Manager have been appointed.
Collectors must ensure that there is no charge against the district officials to whom they have been promoted, before discharging them, said Secretary V. Rajaraman I.A.S.,
