The Forecast 3 days ago Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has called child labour a serious social injustice and urged society to protect the rights and future of children. In a message released on the occasion of Anti-Child Labour Day, he emphasized that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and live in a safe environment.

The Chief Minister said that income earned through child labour should not be viewed as a benefit to families or the nation. Instead, he noted that such practices harm children's development and deprive them of opportunities that are essential for their future. He stressed that children must be given access to education, protection, and the freedom to enjoy their childhood.

CM Vijay also highlighted that the rights to education, safety, and a dignified life are fundamental for every child. According to him, denying these basic rights goes against both natural justice and the principles of social justice. He urged parents, communities, and institutions to work together to ensure that children are protected from exploitation and given the support they need to succeed.

His message reinforces the importance of creating a society where every child can learn, grow, and contribute to the future with dignity and equal opportunity.
