New Delhi,
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) manufactures different types of rockets to launch satellites. In this, PSLVs are used for rockets that place polar satellites in Earth orbit. And the rockets that launch geospatial satellites are named GSLV.
In this situation, GSLV was the largest rocket carrying 36 satellites yesterday. It was named Mark-3. This rocket will go to all places like moon, sun, medium earth orbit, low orbit, upper orbit.
So to avoid confusion in this GSLV. ISRO has renamed the Mark-3 rocket as 'LVM-3' (Living Vehicle Mark-3).
It is noteworthy that ISRO plans to use these rockets for major projects such as sending humans into space in the coming year 2024.
