Meta has quietly introduced a new application called “Forum,” a platform designed to support question-and-answer discussions similar to services offered by Reddit and Quora. The new app aims to improve interaction within online communities by allowing users to post questions and receive responses from members of Facebook Groups.
According to reports, the application was launched without a major public announcement during its initial rollout phase. The platform is expected to focus on community-driven conversations, where users can seek advice, share opinions, and discuss topics across different interest groups.
The new “Forum” app is linked closely with Facebook’s existing group ecosystem, allowing users to engage directly with people who share similar interests and experiences. Industry observers say the move reflects Meta’s growing focus on strengthening online community engagement and expanding social interaction features across its platforms.
At present, the application has been released only for iPhone users as part of its first-stage launch. There is no official confirmation yet regarding availability for Android devices or expansion to additional markets.
The launch of the new app highlights Meta’s continued efforts to explore new digital communication formats and strengthen user participation in online communities.
