Half of Congress chief ministers will be women in next decade: Rahul Gandhi

The Forecast 2 years ago Congress

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has announced that in the next decade, half of the Chief Ministers in the Congress party will be women. Speaking at the State Women's Congress conference in Kochi, Gandhi stated that while there is currently no female Chief Minister in the party, many qualified women are in the party and have been given due place. He believes that 50% of the Chief Ministers on behalf of the Congress will be women within the next decade.
Women possess qualities such as patience, foresight, intelligence, and compassion, which are often overlooked by men. The RSS and BJP are male-dominated organizations, with women never given significant responsibilities. Congress policy encourages women to contribute to Indian politics, but this is not the case with the RSS and its affiliates. Right-wing leaders often accuse women of sexual assault due to improper dress, which is seen as an insult to women and criminalizing the victim. The difference between the RSS and Congress is that Congress allows people to speak and their voice is heard, unlike the RSS where heads of state often focus on themselves.
