Amid ongoing disruptions in regional airspace due to the West Asia conflict, an Indian businessman in the United Arab Emirates has opened his private farm to help stranded travellers. Nearly 200 passengers who were unable to find hotel accommodation have been staying at the facility in Ajman.
The initiative was organised by Dhiraj Jain, who offered his property as temporary shelter for affected passengers after flight schedules were disrupted across the region.
Among those staying at the farm is Mamta Jain from Mumbai. She had arrived in Dubai on February 25 and was scheduled to return on March 1, but her flight was cancelled. With hotels either full or too expensive, she moved to the farm after learning about the arrangement.
Her return flight has now been rescheduled for March 9, offering relief to stranded travelers awaiting their journey home.
