Royal Enfield Expands with New Andhra Pradesh Plant

Royal Enfield is set to establish its first manufacturing plant outside Tamil Nadu with an investment of ₹2,500 crore in Andhra Pradesh. The new facility will be located in Tadaw and is expected to become one of the company’s major production centers in India.


Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the upcoming plant will have the capacity to manufacture around 9 lakh motorcycles every year. The project is also expected to generate employment opportunities for nearly 15,000 people in the region.


Royal Enfield, headquartered in Chennai, is one of India’s leading motorcycle manufacturers and has a strong presence in both domestic and international markets. Officials said the expansion is aimed at increasing production capacity and supporting the growing demand for the company’s motorcycles.


The investment is also expected to strengthen industrial development in Andhra Pradesh and attract additional business opportunities in related sectors. State officials noted that the project will contribute to economic growth and employment generation in the area.


The new manufacturing facility marks an important expansion step for Royal Enfield and highlights Andhra Pradesh’s growing role in industrial development.
