'Atmanirbhar Bharat' Bike Expedition to commemorate platinum jubilee of Naval ship repair yard (kochi) .

The Naval Ship Repair Yard, Kochi [NSRY(Koc)] has been doing a yeoman service since the past 75 years. As part of it's Platinum Jubilee celebrations a motor-bike Expedition comprising naval officers, sailors and defence civilians on 10 Royal Enfield motorcycles under the theme 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' arrived Coimbatore ex- Kochi on 23rd May 22. The team will cover a distance of about 1600km spread over one week. They will primarily cover the industrial- hub cities such as Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy and Chennai which broadly make the South Defence Industrial corridor.
At Coimbatore, the team interacted with members of 'CODISSIA', The expedition was flagged off from INS Agrani, Coimbatore for their onward journey to Salem by Cmde Ashok Rai, the Commanding Officer, INS Agrani on Today.
