Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi started the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' India Unity Tour from in front of Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin presented the national flag to Rahul Gandhi and inaugurated the padayatra. After this, Rahul Gandhi walked about 700 meters carrying the national flag and addressed the public meeting on the Kanyakumari beach road.
Yesterday started the 3rd day padayatra from Scott Christian College at 7 am. A floral path was laid in the archway and Rahul was welcomed. He traveled 18 kilometers from Nagercoil towards Takkalai Mulakumudu area.
On the 3rd day of trekking, had tea at a roadside shop. He then held a discussion with P.R. Pandian, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Farmers' Societies. Rahul Gandhi also met members of the Village Cooking Channel, a YouTube channel popular for its videos on cooking traditional village food in the open air. He completed the 3rd day padayatra at Mulakumoot.
In this case, Rahul Gandhi started the 4th day walk from Mulakumudu area of Kanyakumari. Rahul Gandhi is going to Kerala after completing his padayatra in Tamil Nadu today. He will start his Padayatra tomorrow from Kerala.
