Due to this, there will be a big flood. The ministry's report had warned that the wind speed would be high enough to cause damage. Accordingly, there was widespread damage due to the cyclonic storm yesterday.
In this case, it has been reported that the death toll from the seasonal cyclone that ravaged Africa has exceeded 300. Hundreds more are reported to be missing and search and rescue operations are ongoing.
Earlier, the Department of Disaster Management reported that the situation in southern Malawi was deteriorating. According to the report, the situation has worsened and countless areas are flooded. Roads and bridges are cut off. Uncertain weather is also seen. Similarly, power supply has been cut in many places. It was reported that the situation continued to deteriorate.
