Responding to the BJP's claim that ghee from the KMF is no longer provided to TTD for making laddoo, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Tuesday that the supply was cut off approximately a year and a half ago when the BJP was in office. Following allegations that the KMF would not participate in the bidding process for the supply of ghee because it could not agree on rates, the BJP launched a diatribe against the ruling Congress.On X (previously Twitter), BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel stated that the cancellation of supplies demonstrated a "lack of devotion" and "ignorance of Hindu sentiments." The CM stated, using Mr. Kateel's statement, that "Ghee supply to TTD was stopped one and a half years ago, not yesterdayor today."
