With Food and Civil Supplies Minister K.H. Muniyappa asking senior Ministers to be ready to step down after 30 months to accommodate new faces who worked for the party's electoral victory, the general body meeting called by KPCC on Monday hinted at a future reshuffle.
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar supported this. There have been numerous candidates for ministerial positions, causing dissatisfaction. Mr. Shivakumar further stated that board and corporation heads would be selected soon.
At the meeting, Siddaramaiah also announced that the NEP will be phased out in the state beginning with the next academic year.
