The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall over Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, along with thunderstorms, gusty winds, and lightning at isolated places across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, and Kerala & Mahe.
A gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C is expected over the plains of Northwest India in the next two days, followed by a drop of 3-5°C. The maximum temperature may hover around 39°C, with a minimum of 18°C.
