Tamil Nadu has recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.20% in the Class 12 public examinations, according to official data released by the education authorities. The results showed strong performances across several districts, reflecting steady academic achievement among students across the state.
Tamil Nadu’s Erode district secured the highest pass percentage with 98.87%, emerging as the top-performing district in the state. Puducherry also registered an impressive pass rate of 98.65%. Other districts including Sivagangai, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirappalli, and Thanjavur reported pass percentages above 97%, highlighting consistent academic results in multiple regions.
Meanwhile, Villupuram recorded the lowest pass percentage among the listed districts at 85.92%. Despite the variation in district-wise performance, education officials stated that the overall results indicate a positive outcome for students this year.
The Class 12 public examination results are considered important for higher education admissions and future academic opportunities. The latest results have brought relief and encouragement to students, parents, and teachers across the state as they prepare for the next stage of education.
