The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of Tamil Nadu today due to prevailing weather conditions across the state. Authorities have advised residents in affected areas to remain alert and take necessary precautions.
According to the latest weather bulletin, heavy rain is likely in Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Dindigul, Theni, Madurai, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, and Kanyakumari districts. Rainfall activity is expected to intensify in parts of western and southern Tamil Nadu during the day.
