Based on last year's population census in England, it has been revealed that Indians are the majority of foreigners living in England and Wales in the statistical collection conducted by that country's Office for National Statistics.
The statistics show that one in six people living in England and Wales is foreign-born, with Indians making up a significant number of foreigners.
In the report published by the Office of National Statistics of England, "In 2011, the number of foreigners living in England and Wales was 75 lakhs, and in 2021, it increased by 25 lakhs and became 1 crore. Among them, the maximum number of Indians are 9 lakhs 20 thousand. Next to them are Polish nationals 7 1 lakh 43 thousand and Pakistanis 6 lakh 24 thousand,” it said.
