According to the Ministry of Road Transport, Chennai tops the list for preventing accidental deaths. The ministry said that the severity of the accident is lower than the national average in Tamil Nadu, UP. The ministry has mentioned that most accident deaths occur in the state, and the main cause of accidents is speeding on straight roads rather than potholes, hills, and curves.
