A 120-KW solar power plant facility has been provided at the CSR Block of King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam. As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS)-Vizag Asset has contributed Rs. 50 lakh to a solar power facility under 'Project Ujjwala'. It produces 16,000 to 18,000 units per month.
On this occasion, District Collector A. Mallikarjuna I.A.S., inaugurated a 120 KW solar power facility on the rooftop of the CSR Block in King George Hospital, in the presence of M. Ravindranath, Executive Director, Vizag Asset, DS Varma, Head-HR and Admin of AMNS India, Vizag, Ashok Kumar, Superintendent, KGH, and Butchi Raju, Principal, Andhra Medical College.
