To Building Skillful Graduates, 10 Month Internship Courses For Graduation Courses: AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urged the Authorities.

During a review meeting of the Higher Education Department on past week, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy urged authorities to make 10 months of internships mandatory for graduation courses. During the meeting, the CM stated that the internships should be divided into three parts, with the first year lasting two months, the second year lasting two months, and the third year lasting six months.

The CM further directed officials to guarantee a significant increase in the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER), saying that the state government is putting measures in place to accomplish this aim.

Fee Reimbuesement under VIDYA DEVENA:

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,  "Fee reimbursement is provided under Vidya Devena, and accommodation expenses are covered under Vasathi Deevena, so that a student's ability to pursue higher education is not hampered by poverty. GER should be greater than 80%."

He went on to emphasise that higher education courses should be job-oriented, with supplemental and unique courses added to current ones.

To Improve Communication Skills to Students:

"Them should acquire competent in English to improve communication skills and to give students with the finest preparation for GRE and GMAT examinations," CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated.

He also stated that the fee reimbursement and Vasathi Deevena programmes will now be available to all children in a family, as opposed to only one kid previously, adding that this decision was made to ensure education for both girls and boys.
