Punjab Kings marched into their first-ever IPL final, defeating Mumbai Indians by five wickets in Qualifier 2 at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Chasing 204, Punjab clinched the match with six balls to spare, scoring 207/5. Captain Shreyas Iyer led from the front with a stellar unbeaten 87, while Nehal Wadhera added 48 runs. Earlier, Mumbai posted 203/6, with Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav scoring 44 each. Omarzai and Ashwani Kumar claimed two wickets apiece. Iyer was named Player of the Match. Punjab will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final, aiming to lift their maiden IPL trophy.
