Asani has caused moderate to heavy rainfall in 33 districts of Tamil Nadu, according to the Met Office.
Asani is expected to bring severe rainfall to 15 districts of Tamil Nadu. Heavy rains are expected in Delta districts, Pudukottai, Trichy, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Kallakurichi, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Theni, and Puthuvai Karaikal, according to the Met Office.
