Prompt Action on Grievance Day Petition (GDP) by Theni district collector.

Theni district collector receives GDP petitions from petitioners and handed over tuitions to the concerned authorized officials for necessary action. Few cases of physically handicap has been finalized promptly.

Agriculture farmers and joint public coordinator association handed over petition to stop Madurai joint drinking water project from Periyar water. The head of the farmers told that the project will directly affect Theni district's irrigation as well as drinking water, ground water level.

The Dist. Collector replied that the problem will be sorted out soon.
