Health Minister Arunraj has announced that a resolution opposing the NEET examination will be introduced in the State Assembly. The announcement was made as part of a broader discussion on healthcare and medical education reforms aimed at improving access to services and strengthening the public health system.
The minister stated that the government plans to take steps to regularise the services of more than 8,400 contract nurses currently working in the healthcare sector. According to him, a phased plan is being implemented to achieve a ratio of one doctor for every 250 medical beneficiaries.
