1,456 seats unfilled in post-graduate medical courses - Central Govt

Bharti Pravin answered questions related to post-graduate medical education in the Lok Sabha yesterday. In his written reply, the 'Medical Counseling Committee conducted 5 rounds of consultation, including a special round for postgraduate medical courses for the academic year 2021.

However, 1,456 seats remain vacant. He said that the vacant seats were transferred to the respective universities in respect of affiliated universities. Similarly, Union External Affairs Minister Muralitharan released the details of loans given by India to foreign countries, including neighboring countries.

Muralitharan said that 37 debt relief projects worth 14.27 billion dollars have been provided to neighboring countries, including Bangladesh, Maldives, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. He also said that 222 more debt relief projects worth 14.07 billion dollars have been provided to 42 African countries.
