Sachin Tendulkar-led India Masters clinched the first-ever International Masters League T20 title, defeating Brian Lara’s West Indies Masters by six wickets at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.
Batting first, West Indies Masters managed 148/7, with Vinay Kumar and Shahbaz Nadeem delivering crucial breakthroughs. In reply, India Masters chased the target in just 17.1 overs, powered by Ambati Rayudu’s 74 off 50 balls, earning him the Player of the Match award.
Sachin Tendulkar expressed nostalgia, calling it a trip back in time. Shane Watson won the Elevated Most Sixes of the Season, while Kumar Sangakkara bagged the Masterstroke of the Season award.
