Pakistan has stated that it played a mediating role in the ongoing discussions between the United States and Iran, even as recent talks in Islamabad ended without an agreement.

According to officials from the United States, the latest round of negotiations held in Islamabad did not result in a final deal. The discussions were part of continued efforts to address tensions between the two countries.

Amid this, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that his country facilitated multiple rounds of dialogue between the United States and Iran. He noted that Pakistan had taken steps to support communication between both sides during the negotiation process.

Dar also expressed hope that the United States and Iran would take positive decisions aimed at maintaining peace and stability, both within their regions and globally.

The statement highlights Pakistan’s involvement in diplomatic efforts during a sensitive period in international relations.

The developments are being closely observed as both countries continue efforts to find common ground and move toward a more stable and peaceful outcome.
