Tamil Nadu has achieved an impressive 99.92% pass rate in the CBSE Class 10 board examinations, marking a slight increase from last year’s 99.86%.

The results, announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday, showed that the national pass percentage stood at 93.7%. The performance of students in Tamil Nadu continues to remain significantly higher than the national average.

Despite the high success rate, many students expressed concern over their mathematics scores, stating that the question paper was difficult. As a result, a large number of students are now preparing to appear for the second examination, especially for the math subject.

From this year, CBSE has introduced a new system of conducting two Class 10 board exams. This move aims to reduce academic pressure and give students an additional opportunity to improve their scores.

With the first set of exams completed in March, students are now focusing on better preparation for the upcoming second attempt. The new system is expected to offer more flexibility and support better academic outcomes for students.
