Pakistan Deploys Troops and Jets to Saudi Arabia

The Forecast 5 days ago World News

Pakistan has deployed around 13,000 troops and multiple fighter jets to Saudi Arabia as part of a strategic defence agreement between the two countries.

The deployment includes a military contingent of approximately 13,000 soldiers along with 10 to 18 fighter jets and support aircraft from the Pakistan Air Force. The forces have been stationed at the King Abdulaziz Air Base in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi Ministry of Defence.

Officials stated that the move is aimed at strengthening joint military coordination and improving operational readiness between the armed forces of both nations. The deployment also seeks to support security and stability at both regional and international levels.

A Pakistani government official confirmed that the deployment is part of a defence pact signed last year. Under this agreement, any attack on one country would be treated as an attack on the other, reflecting a strong mutual security commitment.

The development highlights growing military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both countries working together to enhance defence preparedness and regional stability.
