Notice Issued to Pappu Yadav Over Remarks on Women

The Bihar State Women’s Commission has issued a notice to independent MP Pappu Yadav over his controversial remarks about women in politics.

The Commission took suo motu cognisance of his statements and asked him to respond within three days. It has also sought an explanation on why such comments were made and why his Lok Sabha membership should not be cancelled.
