Tamil Nadu Assembly Session to Start Tomorrow

The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly will convene tomorrow at 9:30 AM for its new session, marking the beginning of important proceedings following the recent elections. Newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly will take oath before Protem Speaker Karuppaiah during the opening session.

The Assembly meeting is expected to witness the participation of all newly elected MLAs, senior government officials, and political leaders. Security and administrative arrangements have been completed ahead of the session at the Assembly premises.

According to the schedule, a new Speaker of the Assembly will be elected on May 12. Following the election of the Speaker, the newly formed government will move forward with the process of proving its majority on the floor of the House.

The oath-taking ceremony and Speaker election are considered key constitutional procedures during the formation of a new government. Officials stated that all Assembly proceedings will take place as per the announced schedule.

With the Assembly session set to begin tomorrow, Tamil Nadu is preparing for the next phase of its legislative and administrative activities.
