Schools across Tamil Nadu will reopen on June 1 following the end of the summer vacation, School Education Minister Rajmohan has announced. The reopening marks the beginning of the new academic year for students across the state.
According to the School Education Department, all necessary preparations for reopening have been completed. Schools are being readied to welcome students back to classrooms after the holiday break. Officials stated that arrangements related to classrooms, teaching schedules, and basic facilities have been put in place to ensure a smooth start to the academic session.
Teachers and school staff are also expected to resume duties ahead of reopening day to complete final preparations. Students from primary, middle, and higher secondary classes are scheduled to attend classes as per the academic calendar issued by the department.
The announcement has brought clarity for parents and students preparing for the new school year. With reopening plans finalized, educational activities across Tamil Nadu are set to resume smoothly from June 1.
