IAS officer Amrit Lal Meena appointed as new Chief Secretary of Bihar

In Bihar, senior IAS officer Amrit Lal Meena was appointed the new Chief Secretary of the state. Meena, a 1989 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer was recently repatriated to his original cadre. Earlier Meena was secretary in the Ministry of Coal during his central deputation. He has succeeded outgoing Chief Secretary Brijesh Mehrotra, who got superannuation.
