NIA Arrests Key Associate Linked to Red Fort Car Blast in Srinagar

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a key associate connected to the Red Fort car blast case, which claimed 10 lives and injured around 25 people. The accused, Jasir Bilal Wani, a resident of Kashmir, was detained in Srinagar.
According to the NIA, Wani allegedly provided crucial technical support to execute the terror attack. Investigators revealed that he had modified drones and attempted to develop rockets in preparation for the blast. The agency stated that Wani was an active co-conspirator who worked closely with terrorist Umar Nabi in planning the deadly attack.
The NIA added that multiple angles are being examined to uncover the full conspiracy behind the bombing. Several investigative teams are tracking leads and conducting searches across different states to identify all individuals involved in the terror plot.
