The Supreme Court has strongly questioned the National Testing Agency (NTA) over issues related to the NEET examination paper leak case. During the hearing, the court expressed concern about the impact such incidents have on students and their families across the country.
The bench observed that the matter goes beyond the interests of a single student and affects the hopes, emotions, and years of hard work invested by entire families. The court emphasized that young people should not be let down by failures in the examination system.

The judges pointed out that large-scale irregularities are not commonly reported in examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and asked why similar standards could not be maintained for NEET.
