Tamil Nadu,
Chief Minister M.K.Stalin instructed the officials to focus more on the projects that can fulfill the daily needs of the people.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with the Ministers and senior government officials of Villupuram, Kallakurichi and Cuddalore districts under the “கள ஆய்வில் முதலமைச்சர்” scheme at the Villupuram District Collectorate. Speaking in this meeting, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said, "It is enough to sit in the fort and make plans, instead of thinking that the work will happen automatically, this project called Chief Minister in the field was started with the aim to go closer to the people and monitor the implementation of the plans laid by the government at the field level.
Chief Minister Stated that, "So far we have held direct consultations with 14 district officials at three locations namely Vellore, Salem and Madurai. In that order, we are meeting you, the district officials of Villupuram, Cuddalore and Kallakurichi. Generally, the Chief Minister can communicate, consult and exchange ideas only with the secretaries of the department. Even then, the situation was the same until now. But the project (“கள ஆய்வில் முதலமைச்சர்”) that I started thinking that it was not enough was the project of Chief Minister in Field Study.
Chief Minister Suggested The Rural Development Department to fulfills the basic needs of the villagers and supports their livelihood in various ways. Speed up all the Gram Anna Revival Project works in respect of these three districts. Select employment assurance program jobs carefully and pay those who come to work without delay.
Them the CM Motivated the officers by his eloquent speech , " In my time, complete this project in this district so that you can get a name for yourself. There is no happiness equal to the contentment of a man. I request you to execute every project to such satisfaction. I request each of you to pay more attention to the projects which can fulfill the daily needs of the people. In particular, basic facilities including drinking water and sanitation, services including patta to be provided by the revenue department, urban development and road development, raising the livelihood of the poor and needy people, 100 percent implementation of the projects, youth skill development and education, quality medical treatment in government hospitals. It will benefit the people.
It is very important to improve the lives of farmers. In terms of public welfare, the activities of key sectoral programs like child nutrition and their benefits should be monitored to reach the public in full. On one side is fulfilling the needs of the people, on the other side tens of crores of money are being spent on each and every project. So, in both ways, we need to realize its importance and act.
Get along with people and understand their needs. Your work should be in such a way as to earn their appreciation. Tell the government what new projects you want to implement and send proposals to the government instead of being just implementers of government orders. Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that the government will always support your good work and I congratulate and appreciate all of you.
