 Mannargudi MLA DRP Raja took oath as Tamil Nadu Minister this morning.

 Governor RN Ravi administered the oath of office and secrecy to him in a program held at the Durbar Hall in the Governor's House.

 In this swearing-in ceremony, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Legislative Assembly Chairman Appavu, DMK Parliamentary Committee Chairman D.R Balu, Ministers, Karthikeyan I.A.S.,.  -DGP Shailendra Babu and government officials participated.

 Following this, the announcement of the portfolio to be allotted to DRP Raja will be released.  Also, some ministerial departments are expected to be changed.

 35 people besides the Chief Minister: There are 35 people in the Tamil Nadu Cabinet along with the Chief Minister.  The number of ministers may be up to 15 percent of the total number of members of the Legislative Assembly (234).  In that way, there are 35 people in the Tamil Nadu Cabinet along with the Chief Minister.  The current cabinet remains unchanged at 35 as one person has been removed and a new one has been added.

 Representation for Delta: The Delta region was without representation in the Tamil Nadu Cabinet.  In order to overcome that shortcoming, DRP Raja from Mannargudi, which is considered the center of Delta, has been given a place in the cabinet.
