During this inspection, the chief secretary who inspected the outpatient department and the attendance register advised the doctors to issue a register book instead of the registration card issued to the outpatients.
Following this, he visited the outpatient waiting room and calculated the average attendance of outpatients and instructed to set up additional seats. Later, he discussed with the expectant mothers and inquired about the treatments provided to them. He instructed the doctors to register the report for pregnant mothers at the Urban Community Health Center and send the details to the primary health center register to take appropriate action.
He asked the nurses about the antenatal care provided to expectant mothers. Also, Thai Sey inquired about the birth and death rate. He then inspected the laboratory there and instructed the officers to submit the number of existing equipment and the number of equipment required and take appropriate action accordingly.
He then inspected the activities of the Integrated Child Development Center there and instructed to keep the center clean and the surroundings clean. Also, the Chief Secretary sat on the floor and discussed with the children. He also visited and inspected the food and sports equipment provided to the children.
During this inspection, Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, I.A.S., Additional Commissioner (Health) Shankarlal Kumawat, I.A.S, Deputy Commissioner South Region MP Amit, I.A.S ., they were accompanied by Municipal Welfare Officer Dr. M. Jagatheesan and officers.
