The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) began a clean air campaign on Thursday as part of the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies festivities. The GCC stated in a post on X, "We are thrilled to share the incredible efforts undertaken by the GCC as part of the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies celebration." It recommended that the GCC's trash incineration projects be halted since they were likely to create air pollution.
