The minister in charge of information technology and digital services in Tamil Nadu shared a report on what he has accomplished in the past six months in the area he represents called Madurai Central. He gave out a card that had information written in Tamil to tell people about what he has been doing in his area until May 2023. He talked about his work at a meeting in Simakkal, and he was there with the Mayor and other people from his political party. He mentioned that he has been sharing updates twice a year since 2016. As a person in charge of helping the people in our area, he said it's important to tell everyone about the things he promised to do and the things he actually did. He has been giving updates on his progress regularly. He asked the people to stay in contact if they need any help, and he promised to help them through his office in Mahaboobpalayam and his office at his home in Madurai.
He said thank you to the Chief Minister for letting him help the people. He built new buildings for places where children go to learn, made restrooms for girls in schools, and helped build a community hall. He also got money from the government to build new bridges in Madurai city. He helped a lot of people when he was a member of the government. Many older people asked him for money to help them live better, and he was able to help over a thousand of them. He also gave money to over 500 widows and helped almost 50 people with disabilities. Thiaga Rajan did something nice for a Sri Lankan Tamil by helping them get into Yadava College in Madurai. He also promised to pay for their higher education expenses. The schools in his area are also being improved. They are getting clean drinking water and new classrooms with smart technology. The progress report also talks about a service called e-sevai and how they are helping self-help groups in Madurai central.
