Peaceful Polling Marks High Voter Turnout Across Key States

Polling for Assembly Elections concluded peacefully in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry, reflecting strong democratic participation. Assam recorded an impressive 84.42% turnout, with South Salmara Mankachar district leading at 94.08%. Kerala witnessed 75.01% polling, with Kozhikode district reporting the highest at 77.63%. Puducherry registered a significant 86.92% turnout.

By-elections also saw active participation, with Bagalkot in Karnataka recording 65.68% and Davanagere South 63.04%. Nagaland’s Koridang constituency reported 80.62%, while Tripura’s Dharmanagar seat saw 79.84% voting.

Meanwhile, West Bengal continues its election process with key nomination deadlines. Counting for all states, including Tamil Nadu, will take place next month. The Election Commission ensured peaceful and fair polling across regions.
