FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS ENDS WITH SPARKLING SKY

Diwali was exuberantly celebrated all over India yesterday. The festival was celebrated with at most safety and care by following the guidelines put forth by the government. Chennai was brimming with happiness as people wore new dresses, offering sweets and bursted crackers.

Tamil Nadu Government advised to celebrate Diwali festival in Tamil Nadu with various precautionary measures and restrictions. Accordingly, people in all districts including Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Nellai, Erode, Salem, Vellore, Tirupur, Theni celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy by bursting firecrackers. Due to this, Diwali has spread all over Tamil Nadu.

In Tamil Nadu, permission was given to burst firecrackers only for 2 hours. In the morning, firecrackers were burst at different places. But at night people burst colorful crackers, wire mathappu, puswanam, dharachakaram, firecrackers etc. Darkness was not to be seen with the colourful shots filling the sky and the hearts of the people.

As the festival was about to end the pitch-black sky was sparkling with light. In this case, due to the bursting of firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali, various parts of Chennai are showing a smoke zone all over the city.  The sparkling night sky was viewed by the people with their family.
