Personal inspection of the chief secretary Dr. Iraianbu,IAS, - flood control works in the suburbs of Chennai.

Tamil Nadu Government Chief Secretary Dr. V. Iraianbu IAS, visited the Chennai Suburbs, Pammel, Anagaputhar, Kundatur, Mangadu, and Avadi areas to inspect flood prevention work.
Then, he ordered to finish the work that is going on in the Tambaram corporation area at a cost of 30.78 crores of rupees.
At a cost of 1.28 crores of rupees clean-up work has been finished in Bammal area.
At a cost of 4.5 crores of rupees, canal work is going on to join with Adayar in Anakaputhur.
Tamilnadu chief secretary Iraianbu,, inspected the above work.
"Action will be taken against the concerned authorities if rain water is stagnant," he warned.
During the inspection, Ponnaiya,IAS, Director of Municipal administration, rain waterworks, John Louis, Flood Prevention Monitoring Officer , and Officers were present.
