Cadets of Sainik school visited Naval base kochi

Coimbatore, Nov.18:

59 cadets along with four teaching staff from Sainik School Amaravathinagar paid a visit to Southern Naval Command, Kochi from 13 Nov to 16 Nov 22 on a motivational trip. The visit was aimed at familarising the cadets with the various training facilities of the Training Command of Indian Navy. During the two-day visit, the cadets visited SNC ships and training facilities at ND School, ASW School and Seamanship School. An insight into naval training aspects of seamanship, navigation and weapon was provided to them. At Naval Air Station INS Garuda, the cadets were familarised with the naval aviation wing wherein naval aircraft and helicopters were shown. Substantial interest was evoked during the exhibition of arms, ammunitions, equipment and working models of Naval assets. The enthused cadets bid adieu convinced that they want to join the Indian Navy and serve the nation.
