Coimbatore, Nov.22: As a part of SNC outreach activities to familarise the youth about Indian Navy, a publicity stall has been set up at Yuva India 2022 festival at Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. Yuva India 22 is a youth empowerment program organised by Rotary Club Texcity, in collaboration with district authorities of Coimbatore. This edition of Yuva India focuses on imparting knowledge about opportunities available for the youth in Defence forces, safe driving habits and adverse effects of drug abuse.The Naval publicity stall has been setup by Naval Aircraft Yard, Kochi and comprises variety of exhibits from surface, sub surface and aviation assets of the Indian Navy. The enthusiastic visitors were briefed about the entry schemes, eligibility and qualification criteria for joining the Indian Navy. The event was inaugurated by Dr GS Sameeran, IAS, District Collector in the presence of other dignitaries. The stall has been cynosure of all eyes and has attracted major interest amongst the participating youngsters. The stall would be on display throughout the duration of Yuva India.
