Governor RN Ravi inaugurated the statue of Ambedkar at the Raj Bhavan in Guindy

A statue of Ambedkar has been newly installed in the Raj Bhavan complex in Guindy, Chennai. Ambedkar's memorial day yesterday, Governor RN Ravi inaugurated the statue. RN Ravi paid floral tributes to Ambedkar's portrait, which was decorated below the statue.

At that time, the governor's wife, Lakshmi, was with him. Students shared their views on Ambedkar's contribution to society. Later, sculptor Kishore J. Nagappa, who designed the statue of Ambedkar installed in the Raj Bhavan premises, and the sponsoring Mamannar Ondiveeran Foundation Trustees were felicitated.
