Madurai: Chief Minister M. K. Stalin inaugurated the bronze statue of Ambedkar

First Minister M.K. Stalin left Chennai by Potikai Express train yesterday night to participate in various programs in Tenkasi districts. M.K. Stalin, who is traveling by train for the first time after assuming office as the Chief Minister, participated in various government programs in Tenkasi yesterday. Then he reached Madurai last night.

In this situation, the Chief Minister launched the Sanitation Worker Development Program at the Madurai Managaratchi Conference this morning to address the grievances of the sanitation workers. The Chief Minister also distributed protective equipment including shoes, protective clothing and gloves to the sanitation workers.

After that, the full-length bronze statue of Ambedkar erected near the Madurai Perungudi Airport was unveiled by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Viduthalai siruthaigal Party leader Thol. Thirumavalavan and inaugurated it together. The program was attended by senior ministers and political party leaders.

Heavy security arrangements were made in Madurai district on the occasion of Chief Minister's visit.
