Under the direction of the National Legal Works, Tamil Nadu State Legal Works Commission and the Chairman of the Tanjore District Legal Works Commission and the Thanjavur District Chief Justice National Legal Works, the guidance of the Tamil Nadu State Legal Works Commission and the Chairman of the Tanjore District Legal Works Commission and the Thanjavur District Chief Justice and the Secretary According to the instructions of the Judge, a National People's Court called "National Lok Adalat all over India at one day and one time" was held at Kumbakonam, Tiruvidaimarudur Courts on Saturday 11-02-2023 at 10 am.

Two sittings were held at the Kumbakonam court. In the first session. S. Shanmugavel Additional District Judge, A. Buviarasu Principal District Law Judge, S. Madhavan Advocate also participated.

In the second session, .D.Shanmukhapriya, Chief Criminal Justice Department,. .A. Venkatesaperumal Principal Probate Court Judge, A. Raghuveeran advocate also participated. Similarly, in the session organized at the District Legal and Judicial Arbitration Court in Thiruvidaimarudur, a total of 753 cases were taken up for hearing with the participation of Sivapalani District Legal and Judicial Arbitrator, A.L.Bharathidasan Judicial Arbitrator No.1 Advocate M.Mohanraj.

In relation to various cases, check cases, family cases, alimony cases, civil, petty crime cases, motor vehicle accident cases are taken up in the People's Court for consideration by calling both the parties and concluding a compromise.

In 492 cases legal prompt settlement was found out of which Rs.29950717.00

14 out of which Rs.4138639.00 through check fraud case

Rs.11258478.00 through 95 motor vehicle accident compensation cases and Rs.3408084.00 through 97 enforcement cases. Kumbakonam District Legal Services Committee Junior Administrative Officer Sudharsanan, legal volunteer Gunaseelan and court office staff made arrangements for this.
